National Osteoporosis Foundation - Exercise and Rehabilitation Advisory Council

NOF’s Exercise and Rehabilitation Advisory Council conveys the educational needs of physical therapists, exercise professionals and rehabilitation professionals to NOF’s Education Committee in order to improve the care of patients and families affected by osteoporosis. The Council serves as the advisory group for NOF’s educational initiatives that provide exercise and rehabilitation content for professionals and patients.

The Exercise and Rehabilitation Advisory Council aims to:

  • Inform NOF’s Education Committee of the issues and interests of exercise and rehabilitation professionals that require educational initiatives;
  • Initiate and implement national educational strategies targeting exercise and rehabilitation professionals in the osteoporosis and bone health fields; and
  • Advise and help inform NOF’s evolving role in advancing the education of exercise and rehabilitation professionals.
