National Osteoporosis Foundation - Nursing Advisory Council

NOF’s Nursing Advisory Council conveys the educational needs of nurses to the NOF Education Committee in order to improve the nursing care of patients and families affected by osteoporosis. The council serves as the advisory group for all NOF educational initiatives that are focused on nurses and nursing care.

The Nursing Advisory Council aims to:

  • Inform NOF’s Education Committee of the issues and interests of nursing professionals that require educational initiatives;
  • Initiate and implement national educational strategies targeting nurses in the osteoporosis and bone health fields; and
  • Advise and help inform NOF’s evolving role in advancing nursing education.
